Pediatric care

King's Daughters' offers a combination of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy when caring for children. This is a specialized service of our rehab team. Services are available for children of all ages. Working with physicians, our therapists use innovative therapies and integrated programs to help each child reach his or her potential.

King's Daughters' is a First Steps provider for children ages 0 to 3 years. Several therapists from physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy specialize in pediatric care. Significant credentialing is needed to work with children. We also have dynamic, state-of-the-art equipment to provide a hands-on approach to pediatric care.

Specialized pediatric therapy is available for:

  • Autism spectrum disorders.
  • Neurological development and concerns.
  • Developmental disabilities.
  • Pediatric injuries.
  • Chronic illnesses (diabetes/arthritis).
  • Children who need sensory integration.

Our pediatric care coordinator (via Madison Pediatrics of KDH) helps organize and coordinate services—making it easier for parents to access needed resources. The pediatric care coordinator may be reached at 812.801.0061.

Our pediatric therapy staff includes a rehab wheelchair specialist with certification as an assistive technology professional. Team members include physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists.
