Neurology focuses on diagnosing and treating diseases and disorders of the nervous system. The nervous system includes the central and peripheral systems and involves the spinal cord and the brain. A wide range of neurology care is available through King's Daughters' Health in Madison.

Neurologists treat a variety of conditions that may include problems with coordination, muscle weakness and decreases in sensations. Patients who are having problems with their senses—such as touch, vision or smell—may benefit from seeing a neurologist. Additional areas of neurology include seizure disorders (epilepsy), infections of the nervous system, neurodegenerative disorders and autoimmune disorders.
