Free State of Indiana COVID-19 testing at the Norton KDH Convenient Care Center, 445 Clifty Drive in Madison, will end on December 31, 2022.

COVID-19 testing will still be available at Norton KDH Convenient Care, but testing will be billed through the patient's insurance provider and will be processed locally at the Norton KDH laboratory. A deductible or co-payment may be required, depending on the patient's insurance coverage.

A member of the Convenient Care Center team will contact patients with test results. Patients may also check the MyKDH patient portal for test results. Beginning January 2, 2023, Norton KDH Convenient Care will expand its weekday (Monday to Friday) hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday) will remain 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Free home-based COVID-19 testing kits will be available at the Jefferson County Health Department, 715 Green Road in Madison. Patients with COVID-19 symptoms are asked to call the health department before arriving so that a staff member may bring the home-based kits to the patient's vehicle. Patients are encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling (812) 273-1942.

The Norton KDH Convenient Care Center provides urgent health care services for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries. Patients are encouraged to schedule an appointment online before arriving.
