Results: 2019 RUN the FALLS 5K

Congratulations to Anthony Kunte of Elizabethtown (KY) and Carrigan Friend of Rising Sun (IN) who earned special recognition as the Top Overall Male and Top Overall Female finishers at our 2019 RUN the FALLS 5K on Saturday, September 28 at Clifty Falls State Park in Madison. Bryan Wagner of Lawrenceburg (IN), last year's overall top finisher, was a close second in the overall standings, finishing a single second behind Kunte during a thrilling sprint to the finish line. Kunte posted a time of 17:13 and Wagner a 17:14. Friend finished with a time of 24:05.

Overall, 241 walkers and runners registered for this year's event, with 200 crossing the finish line on race morning - despite unexpectedly warm temperatures and humidity. Proceeds from the 2019 RUN the FALLS 5K benefit our KDH Girls on the Run Program.
