Date change - KDH will host Medication/Syringe Drop off on September 15

King's Daughters' Health, the Jefferson County Health Department, Madison Police, and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department will host a Medication/Syringe Drop Off on Saturday, September 15 at the KDH Main Campus Medical Building, 1373 East SR 62, Madison. The event runs from from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (Noon). No questions will be asked.

Here are additional dates for 2018:

  • Saturday, December 8 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Unused and expired medications can pose a health and safety risk for you and your family. Proper disposal is important. Take advantage of this opportunity to eliminate these medications from your home. Syringes will also be accepted (for those with diabetes and/or other uses).

The process is simple. Drive up to the drop-off point and place your medications and/or syringes in the appropriate containers. If you have questions, contact the Jefferson County Health Department.
