A graduate of Hanover College, Dr. Sarah Shewmaker returns to the Madison area as a specialist in both Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. She provides a wide range of services for adults and children, including wellness, prevention, and chronic and acute care.
Dr. Shewmaker earned her Medical Doctorate from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2013. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, where she served as Chief Resident (2016-2017). Dr. Shewmaker is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Physicians, and a member of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations. Her hobbies and interests include choral groups, hiking, church involvement, and reading.
