King's Daughters' Health is proud to welcome Dr. Madalyn Doublett to its General Surgery team in September. Dr. Doublett completed her General Surgery Residency at the Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH, and earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the Arizona School of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, AZ. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington.

Dr. Doublett will be joining the General Surgery team of Dr. David Schumacher and Dr. Gilbert Field at the Main Campus Medical Building in Madison. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Physicians.

"My ultimate goal when approaching patients is to help them achieve their health goals and to see the situation from their perspective," Dr. Doublett said. "I want to guide them through the complexities of treatment options as if they were one of my family. I find the ability to collaborate with my patients and with other physicians to be very rewarding."

Away from the office, Dr. Madalyn Doublett said she enjoys spending time with her family and pets.

Appointment information will be available soon.
