King's Daughters' Health, the Jefferson County Health Department, Madison Police, and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department will again host Medication/Syringe Drop Off events at the KDH Main Campus Medical Building, 1373 East SR 62, Madison. The first Medication/Syringe Drop Off is Saturday, March 10 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (Noon). No questions will be asked.

Here are additional dates for 2018:

  • Saturday, June 9 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 15 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 8 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Unused and expired medications can pose a health and safety risk for you and your family. Proper disposal is important. Take advantage of this opportunity to eliminate these medications from your home. Syringes will also be accepted (for those with diabetes and/or other uses).

The process is simple. Drive up to the drop-off point and place your medications and/or syringes in the appropriate containers. If you have questions, contact the Jefferson County Health Department.
