ISDH: Elevated flu activity in Indiana

Hospital news | Thursday, January 10, 2019

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has upgraded its flu activity report in Indiana from "moderate" to "high." Prevention and precautions remain your best defense. The number one way to prevent the flu is by receiving a flu shot. It's also important to wash your hands frequently.

Although King's Daughters' Health has not implemented any visiting restrictions at this time, we do ask that anyone who is actively sick to please refrain from visiting patients in the hospital. Thank you for your cooperation.

If you need to see a provider for an illness, our Convenient Care Center offers walk-in appointments from 11:00 a.m. - 8:45 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday - located at 445 Clifty Drive in Madison. If you need help finding a primary care provider, call our Patient Access Line: 812.801.8995.
