Healthy Communities of Jefferson County looking for new Initiative Coordinator

Envision Jefferson County and Healthy Communities of Jefferson County is looking for a new Initiative Coordinator. The Initiative Coordinator oversees and coordinates all activities and documents relating to the Healthy Communities Initiative of Jefferson County, Indiana. It is a part-time, contract position, generally requiring 15-20 hours per week.
Qualifications for the Healthy Communities Initiative Coordinator include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or previous job experience that meets job-specific responsibilities. Applicants should have strong presentation skills, along with solid written and oral communication skills. Applicants should be proficient in Power Point, Word, and Excel, demonstrate an ability to work with people from varied background, understand how to develop plans and directions for programs, and work independently. The Coordinator will organize and attend regular meetings of various groups within the Healthy Communities Initiative, create printed materials, work with media outlets, maintain files, and continue building community interest and participation.
The Healthy Communities Initiative Coordinator position is supported by both the Community Foundation of Jefferson County and the King’s Daughters’ Hospital Foundation.
