Beginning April 1 (2019), Dr. John Hossler, a family practice physician who has served the Madison community for over 40 years, will be reducing his office hours to Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the KDH Downtown Medical Building, 630 North Broadway, Madison.

With additional office space available, Dr. Scott Murphy is moving his practice from the Main Campus Medical Building (hospital campus) to Dr. Hossler’s second-floor location at the Downtown Medical Building, effective April 1. Dr. Murphy will be providing coverage on Mondays and Tuesdays at the downtown office. Although the two physicians will be sharing space and resources, each physician will maintain an individual practice. Patients may reach either Dr. Hossler or Dr. Murphy by calling 812.801.0892.

“I would like to thank all of my patients for the trust they have given me,” Dr. Hossler said in a letter to his patients. “While I’m not quite ready to retire, my plan is to slow down. One of my families recently informed me that I had taken care of five generations. It has been an awesome responsibility.”
Patients of Dr. Scott Murphy and Dr. John Hossler are encouraged to call if they have any questions regarding appointments, prescriptions, or related medical care.

As a family practice physician, Dr. Murphy provides a wide range of services for children through adults. He has been a member of the KDH medical staff since 2004.
