House of Health events are FREE community programs sponsored by King's Daughters' Health and the Jefferson County Health Department. Program are held at the House of Hope (Clearinghouse), corner of 1st and West Streets in downtown Madison.

Topic: Skin Cancer: Learn the ABC's of moles and how to protect your skin

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States. It can also largely be prevented by protecting yourself from the sun's harmful UV rays. Learn how to recognize skin cancer and pre-cancerous conditions, as well as the ABC's of Melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer.
