Safety and Self Defense Workshop

King's Daughters' Health will host a FREE Safety and Self Defense Workshop for women from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30 in the Oak Conference Rooms (basement level) at the hospital, 1373 East SR 62, Madison. Workshop instructors are Heather Foy, KDH Wellness Coordinator, and Madison Police Officer Dan Slygh.

Reducing these risks by increasing your safety is 90-percent of self-defense education. Learn how to build confidence, stay safe, and defend yourself if ever attacked. The class is perfect for women who live or travel alone, are heading to college soon, just started dating, work nights, or even have to park in large parking lots or garages. It's also ideal for women to exercise outdoors.
