Hydration is important throughout the day (and during exercise), but many of the beverages we like to consume have an unexpected downside: sugar and calories. Whether it's sports drinks, coffee treats, or sweetened teas, added sugar means added calories. Some drinks add as many calories as a full meal, when fat and/or sugar is factored into the equation. Alcohol (for adults) can also add a host of calories. Limiting high-calorie beverages will help you reduce unwanted and unexpected calories. Learn more about your options and what to look for on the drink labels.
No RSVP or registration required. For more information, contact Heather Foy at 812.801.0175.
