We have office parties, family get-togethers, and the joy of baking cookies, just to name a few of the many check-list items. Planning is important. Plan time for exercise. Plan healthy snacks so you have them around. Plan healthy meal options. Eat a small, healthy snack before going to a party where you know there will likely be high-calorie foods. Remember portion sizes. Taste a few different things you enjoy; or have a small piece of your favorite pie. With a little effort, you can begin 2018 without a few extra unwanted pounds.
