When it comes to women's health, there are a variety of factors to consider, and sometimes it can be challenging for patients to know where to start. My passion as a women's health nurse practitioner lies in collaborating with every patient to find an individualized care plan to help them meet their long term health goals. At KDH, I work with a wonderful group of OB/GYN's who share my passion for collaboration.
In women's health, there's no single approach that can work for every patient. This fact keeps me motivated and is the reason why I'm always looking to expand my knowledge base. By attending yearly conferences and women's health workshops, I want to be the best provider I can for my patients. And today, I am able to provide holistic care and a variety of procedures right in my office.
My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Nursing from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN. And in 2014, I earned a Master's in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis' Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program - a career-long goal of mine. My experiences as an OB nurse and childbirth educator have helped me provide the best care possible as a women's health nurse practitioner.
Although providing my patients with the best care is my top priority, I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, running and planting flowers. As I continue my career, I'm always pushing myself to find new ways to help enhance patient health and take care of my family.
