Cardiology and pulmonary services at King’s Daughters’ Health work together as a single department. This provides patients easy access to both heart and lung services at one location. We call it Cardio-Pulmonary services.
Location and Contact Information
Cardio-Pulmonary services is located on the Main Floor of the hospital. It’s convenient for both patients at the hospital and those needing outpatient procedures. Outpatient procedures may be scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please call 812-801-0196 to schedule an appointment or to get more specific information.
Cardio-pulmonary services provide a variety of testing and procedures. Following is an overview:
- STRESS TESTING
- Graded exercise.
- Nuclear stress.
- Pharmacological nuclear stress.
- Stress echo.
- CARDIAC ULTRASONOGRAPHY (Ultrasound)
- 2D/M mode.
- Color flow.
- AMBULATORY CARDIAC MONITORING
- Holter monitoring.
- Event monitoring.
- EEGs (brain wave test).
- Vascular testing.
- Carotid testing.
- Lower and upper venous imaging.
- Lower and upper arterial testing.
All diagnostic procedures are performed using advanced equipment. Staff members are certified and registered through CCI or ARDMS. The vascular lab is Nationally Accredited through ICAVL (Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories).
