If you live outside the Madison area, you may not be familiar with where the new hospital is located. We are working to have new facility's address at 1373 East State Road 62 updated in Google Maps, MapQuest, etc. This process may take a little time. Below are some basic driving directions depending upon your arrival route.
DIRECTIONS to the New Hospital Campus
From Hanover (IN - West) ... Follow State Road 56/62 past Hanover College until it splits. At the split, you will see a Comfort Inn. Turn left (east) onto State Road 62. Stay on State Road 62 (Clifty Drive) through Madison. Once you pass Ivy Tech Community College - on the right - and Walmart - on the left - you will arrive at a four-way stop. Proceed straight (east) through the four-way stop. You will see the new campus on your left.
From Versailles (IN - North) ... Follow US 421 South until it intersects with State Road 62. This is at a four-way stop. Turn left (east) onto State Road 62. You will see the new hospital campus on your left across from the North Madison Christian Church.
From Vevay (IN - East) ... Follow State Road 56 into downtown Madison. Turn right onto US 421 (Jefferson Street). Stay on US 421 North until you reach the hilltop. This is about 5 miles. The highway will intersect with State Road 62 at a four-way stop. Turn right (east) onto State Road 62. The new hospital campus will be on your left.
From Kentucky (South) ... Cross the Madison-Milton Bridge and turn left at the bottom of the temporary ramp. Proceed about a quarter-mile to a stop sign. This is where the road meets up with State Road 56. Turn left (west) and proceed into downtown Madison on State Road 56 until it meets up with US 421 (Jefferson Street). Turn right on US 421 and follow the highway to the hilltop (about 5 miles). It will intersect with State Road 62. Turn right (east) onto State Road 62. The new hospital campus will be on your left.
