INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE NEW HOSPITAL
•  The hospital covers 212,000 square feet
•  The Main Campus Medical Building covers 95,000 square feet
•  Linear feet of wire: 1,557,345 - which equals 295 miles (distance from Louisville to Chicago)
•  Total number of light switches: 1,855
•  Linear feet of sprinkler pipe: 35,000 or 6.6 miles
•  Linear feet of copper pipe: 63,000 or 12 miles
•  Linear feet of PVC pipe: 47,000 or 9 miles
•  Tons of duct work: 175 or enough to build 88 vehicles weighing 4,000 pounds
•  Linear feet of metal studs: 1,100,00 or 208 miles
•  Square feet of drywall: 2,005,000 or about 46 acres - covering 58 football fields
